Terms of service
We sell the goods by mail order to Caterpillar and Cat dealers in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
1. Prices
All prices stated in catalogs and in the online shop are ex works from Mönchengladbach, Germany, and do not include VAT. Upon updating the price list or the prices in the online shop, all previous prices and information about the items presented there become invalid. The version current at the time of ordering shall prevail.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The customer's offer is binding for 10 days after the customer has placed the order. Notwithstanding the normal rules regarding the conclusion of the contract, the offer is deemed accepted by Leagues if Leagues delivers to the customer within this period or notifies the customer of delivery.
3. Right of Cancellation in the Case of Specific Hedging Transaction
If ordered goods cannot be delivered because a supplier directly commissioned by Leagues to procure them fails to deliver for reasons beyond Leagues' control, Leagues is entitled to release itself from the obligation to deliver. The customer will be informed of this immediately. Any payments will be refunded immediately.
4. Defects
Obvious, easily identifiable defects in individual deliveries (such as missing, incorrectly delivered, or damaged items) must be reported to Leagues within two weeks of receipt of the delivery. Timely notification by the customer is sufficient to meet the deadline. Damage to the transport packaging must be confirmed by the parcel delivery person upon delivery.
After the two-week exclusion period, customer claims for obvious, easily identifiable defects are excluded. For all other defects in the purchased item that occur during the statutory warranty period, the statutory provisions apply. In particular, the above clauses do not amend the statutory provisions governing transactions with merchants.
5. Prohibition of Copying
Except in connection with an order from Leagues, no content from the Leagues website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, downloaded, displayed, sent, or recorded without the written consent of Leagues.
6. Place of Performance and Jurisdiction
The place of performance and jurisdiction is Mönchengladbach, unless an exclusive or joint place of jurisdiction exists.
